Race Director's Report
Congratulations to the 4,100 participants that enjoyed today's event in Sydney. The iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera house coupled with blue skies and perfect temperature destined for a great day and a great day we had. With the first wave kicking off at 7.30am athletes made their way to the swim start at Farm cove with plenty of onlookers taking 'happy snaps' with the picturesque setting in the background.
The atmosphere was fantastic with many teams opting to dress in a synchronized team outfit. The winning team however was Schneider Electric who was awarded the 'Corporate Colours' award for donning their athletes in predominantly Green tri-suits.
Congratulations must also go to 'McGrathNicol A Team' for winning the Corporate Male division as well as the 'Commonwealth Bank Girls 1' for winning the Corporate Female division.
We thoroughly enjoy hosting this venue at the Botanic Gardens in Sydney and we continue to hope to improve our events from one season to the next.
