Langley Park in Perth is one of the best venues to hold a corporate triathlon in Australia and with perfect weather conditions in the morning, the 2012 Nissan Corporate Triathlon Series Perth Event was a great success.
While Perth saw its second heat wave in March with temperatures hitting the high 30's, the earlier start to todays event meant that all competitors were off course by 10:30am.The Sprint Event started first with the Main following. There was a great atmosphere at swim start this morning, as we sent the sprint and main waves off into the Swan River for the event start.The one aspect about being in Event Management is that you cannot control the weather.
The additional drink stations, reduced distances, more shade and services added to the ease of the Event. To Corporate Perth we say a big thank you for participating in the 2012 Nissan Corporate Triathlon Series Event. Congratulations to all of our winners but more importantly thank you to all the teams that competed today.
The Series now moves to Adelaide next weekend before heading to Sydney on 29 April and Gold Coast on 5 May. We look forward to coming back to Perth in 2013 for another exciting event. Well done Perth.
