Race Director's Report
Dear Competitor,
Congratulations to all finishers! The Adelaide leg of the NISSAN Corporate Triathlon National Series once again provided the Series with an intimacy due its unique venue.
With over 700 competitors, a record amount of corporate marquees and a beautiful race morning it ensured the atmosphere around the venue was exceptional.The big crowds at the Team Transition and Finish chutes, and the loud support by most notably Acciona Agua for their colleagues, showed us what the event is all about – competitive team spirit in a fun way.
The corporate colours award was closely contested with all 5 finalists doing their utmost to win the award, but in the end Schneider Electric’s large presence and volume proved too much, as they celebrated winning the award for the second year running.The Series takes a short break, before it heads to the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney on the 29th April and the Series Finale up on the Gold Coast on the 5th May.
We look forward to coming back to Adelaide in 2013 for an even bigger and better event. See you there!
