Race Director's Report
Dear Competitor,
Congratulations to all finishers! What a day!! After the spectacular thunderstorm brought over 25mm of rainfall in the early hours of the morning, once again we had to cancel the swim. It is frustrating and disappointing but the strong onshore winds and brown water was not appealing at all.
Congratulations to Peter Kerr and Erin Densham for their wins and to all the winner and placegetters in their respective age categories. A special well done to all the Active Feet Fun Tri Series and first time competitors for finishing in challenging conditions.
It was great that the weather improved and the sun came out and the wind dropped. Thanks to all those who added to the Christmas spirit and for making it a great atmosphere at the finish and presentations. We look forward to releasing our new SuperSprint iPhone App and Bike Mount/Dismount system at Race 3 Brighton and hope to see you all there.

Elwood Swim Course Training Swim – Thursday 15th December 6:30pm
As a result of the cancelled swim, we have organised a free training swim for all entrants over 200m or 500m swim course supervised by Elwood Lifesaving Club and coordinated by Tri-Alliance. More details on the website soon.
