Race Director's Report
Dear Competitor,
Congratulations to all finishers, we hope you enjoyed the event. The exciting racing made for a fitting event for the Series finale with the fun atmosphere capturing the mood. Conditions were great for racing with the wind being the only real challenge for the competitors. Well done to Peter Kerr and Erin Densham for winning the elite category and to all other category winners, first timers, and Brooks Fun Tri competitors.
Planning for the 2010 – 11 Series begins almost as soon as the event finishes. We welcome your feedback and suggestions which you can let us know by completing the post event survey sent out to all competitors.
Next season is a special year for us next year as we celebrate SuperSprint and the Portarlington event’s 25th year! We look forward to making the Portarlington event even more special next year.
We thank Gatorade, Brooks and all of our sponsors for supporting the Series along with all of our contractors and marshal groups. Thanks also to Tri Vic and all the triathlon clubs/training groups for supporting the Series. It is a great sport!
Finally, thank you for participating in the 2009 / 10 Gatorade Triathlon Series. We wish you all the best for your off season training and racing and look forward to seeing you again next season.
