If you are new to SuperSprint events, click on 'Register' under the Enter Online tab on the right hand side of the SuperSprint homepage, enter the required details, then click on CREATE USER and enter your details, making sure to follow the guidelines on screen.

Once you have logged in or created yourself a new profile, go to the Event you wish to enter (Events are listed under the "Event" tab at the top of the website). Then click on 'Online entry' on the left hand side menu bar of your chosen event.

Profiles & Login Details

All competitors who enter the Degani Kinglake Ride 2010 are required to have a SuperSprint 'athlete profile'. Athlete profiles contain important information that are vital to your registration process and safety on event day.

Login to your athlete profile

When you login please check that your profile details are correct and updated. You'll also note additional fields, such as Emergency Contact details, that will require input.

Once logged in click on the Degani Kinglake Ride 2010 homepage (under the EVENT tab) and click on the 'Online Entry' tab on the left hand side. Then simply follow the online prompts to enter.

NB: All athlete profiles must have a unique email address in the 'email address' field.

How do I create an athlete profile if I don't have an email address?

We suggest you create your own email account or use a friend or family members email address (who doesn't have a current SuperSprint athlete profile). All profiles MUST have a unique email address, team members cannot share the same email.

Suggested Email Websites: We recommend using one of the simple and easy (and free) email website addresses from hotmail (www.hotmail.com) yahoo (www.yahoo.com.au) or gmail (www.google.com.au)

What are the entry fees?

Event Day

Is there a bag compound?
No. It is the responsibility of each competitor to ensure they keep their personal belongings in a safe and secure place before, during and after completing the ride.
Will medical Support be available on course?
There will be mobile medical support provided on the course. This includes ambulances with paramedics and medical vehicles with doctor's and sports trainers. If you require assistance while on the course you can either use your own mobile phone to contact the event mobile maintenance vehicle (noted on the event information sheet sent out with the ride kit) or advise a course marshal, police officer, traffic management or event staff member, who will then call for assistance.
How long before the ride should I get to the start area?
Participants should aim to be at the start area well before start time as there will be 1000's of other cyclists all trying to arrive on time and get a spot at the start line. We recommend being ready to take your place in the start area 30 minutes before your start time.
What happens if I have mechanical trouble?
There will be mobile mechanical support provided on the course. This includes mobile bike mechanic vehicles. If you require assistance while on the course you can either use your own mobile phone to contact the event mobile maintenance vehicle (noted on the event information sent out prior to the event) or advise a course marshal, police officer, traffic management or event staff member, who will then call for assistance.
What happens if I have to pull out of the ride?

There are no problems if you need to pull out of the event for any reason. If you do need to stop riding for any reason (tired, injured, sick or broken down bike) then there are Event SAG Wagons following the last cyclists that will be able to pick you and your bike up and return you to the venue.

Am I insured in the case of an accident?

No, the Degani Kinglake Ride is covered by public liability insurance only – there is no personal insurance associated with this, so it does not cover accidents caused by yourself, individuals or other riders. It is therefore strongly recommended that participants have personal accident insurance (Cycling Australia, Bicycle Australia, Triathlon Australia) or top personal medical cover/insurance.

Participants requiring ambulance transport will be charged directly for this service. SuperSprint highly recommend that participants hold current ambulance cover.
