PHIL LIGGETT – EVENT AMBASSADOR

The Degani Kinglake Ride 2010 officially announces Phil Liggett as the event ambassador. Internationally renowned as the ‘voice of cycling’, Phil Liggett, MBE, is excited to be involved "Kinglake, a challenging, yet breathtaking course – one of my favourites!"

Course

  • Scenic course of quiet country roads through Arthurs Creek, St. Andrews, Kinglake National Park, Castella, Glenburn, Flowerdale and Kinglake West
  • Highly rated by professional cyclists including Will Walker and Cadel Evans who have trained over the course
  • On course mechanical support
  • Fantastic new design Nalini event jersey for all participants.
  • Frequent refreshment stops including Ascend hydration and bars on course.
  • Post event festival with food stalls and live entertainment
  • Well signed and marshaled course
  • Police and traffic management support.
  • Mobile medical support including Doctors, Sports Trainers, Paramedics, 3 Ambulances and a Medical Support Vehicle.

Kinglake Climb

  • Test yourself against former Pro Tour rider Will Walker's blistering 15min 16sec assault on the 7.2km climb into Kinglake – KM markings & times located on course.
