No! All entries must be completed online prior to the event. NO Entries will be accepted after entries close on Friday 4th September 2009 12noon. It is expected that the field limit of 3,000 will be filled well in advance of this date so riders should enter soon.

What if my jersey (t-shirt) size is wrong?

Please choose your jersey size carefully! Due to manufacturing restrictions at Nalini (Italy) and the specific sizing of orders, SuperSprint may not be able to exchange jersey’s if the incorrect size is selected!

There will be a jersey exchange facility at the venue on event morning based next to the Event Information Tent. This facility will service those competitors wishing to exchange their jersey size with other competitors, or if there is a surplus of particular sizes. Please keep all tags on your jersey so they can be swapped ‘as new’. NB: SuperSprint cannot guarantee the jersey size you require will be available.

To ensure you receive a well fitted jersey please refer to the sizing table on the Degani Kinglake RIde jersey page. Once you determine your ideal fit you will be required to select your chosen size when entering via our online entry system.

Nalini is an Italian clothing company. The jerseys produced are of an elite cut offering a contoured body fit. This is only seen by leading Italian clothing companies. As an Australian cyclist you may find you’re used to wearing a more loose fitting jersey. To help to ensure you receive a jersey that fits the way you like, select a size with the preceding information in mind. Event Day

Is there a bag compound?
No. It is the responsibility of each competitor to ensure they keep their personal belongings in a safe and secure place whilst taking part in the ride.
Will medical Support be available on course?
There will be mobile medical support provided on the course. This includes roaming ambulances with paramedics and medical vehicles with doctor's and sports trainers. If you require assistance while on the course you can either use your own mobile phone to contact the event mobile maintenance vehicle (noted on the event information sheet sent out with the ride kit) or advise a course marshal, police officer, traffic management or event staff member, who will then call for assistance.
What level of medical cover is provided?
A medical facility will be set up at the start/finish venue and staffed by the Event Medical Director and sports trainer. Mobile Medical Support vehicles, including an ambulance will be used to provide medical coverage on the course.
How long before the ride should I get to the start area?
Participants should aim to be at the start area well before start time as there will be 1000's of other cyclists all trying to arrive on time and get a spot at the start line. We recommend being ready to take your place in the start area 30 minutes before your start time.
What happens if I have mechanical trouble?
There will be mobile mechanical support provided on the course. This includes roaming support vehicles and mobile bike mechanic vehicles. If you require assistance while on the course you can either use your own mobile phone to contact the event mobile maintenance vehicle (noted on the event information sent out with the ride kit) or advise a course marshal, police officer, traffic management or event staff member, who will then call for assistance.
What happens if I have to pull out of the ride?

There are no problems if you need to pull out of the event for any reason. If you do need to stop riding for any reason (tired, injured, sick or broken down bike) then there are Event SAG Wagons following the last cyclists that will be able to pick you and your bike up and return you to the venue.

Am I insured in the case of an accident?

No - The Degani Kinglake Ride is covered by public liability insurance only – there is no personal insurance associated with this, so it does not cover accidents caused by yourself, individuals or other riders. It is therefore strongly recommended that participants have personal accident insurance (Cycling Australia, Bicycle Australia, Triathlon Australia) or top personal medical cover/insurance.

Participants requiring ambulance transport will be charged directly for this service. SuperSprint highly recommend that participants hold current ambulance cover.

Post Event

When do I get my show bag?
At the completion of the ride after you cross the finish line you can collect your show bag from the refreshment marquee!
Who do I contact if I have feedback?

All feedback emails should be directed to info@supersprint.com.au
