There will be refreshment stations located at St.Andrews, Kinglake, Glenburn, Flowerdale, Kinglake West and Whittlesea

NB: The combined field limit of both the 70km & 120km 2009 Degani Kinglake Rides is 3,000.

This field limit of 3000 participants was reached at 1:30pm on Friday 31st July. No more entries can be taken.  

Event Features

Major Course Improvement

  • SuperSprint have approached Whittlesea Council and Vic Roads to request the use of the Whittlesea Yea Road to avoid using Humevale Road. This has been granted for 2009 so participants will enjoy a smooth descent to the finish line and avoid the rough narrow descent of Humevale Road

  • Scenic course of quiet country roads through Arthurs Creek, St. Andrews, Kinglake National Park, Castella, Glenburn, Flowerdale and Kinglake West
  • Highly rated by professional cyclists including Will Walker and Cadel Evans who have trained over the course
  • On course mechanical support
  • Mobile Medical support including Doctors, Sports Trainers, Paramedics, 2 Ambulances and Medical Support Vehicles
  • Police and Traffic Management support
  • Well sign posted and marshaled course

Cycle Club Tent Application

A limited number of cycle clubs will be given the opportunity to set up a club tent at the 2009 Degani Kinglake Ride. For your club to be eligible please read and complete the Application Form below.

To ensure the safety of all participants, spectators, marshals, staff and the general public, cycle clubs are required to comply with these Terms & Conditions prior to setting up a tent at this years event.
