SuperSprint Celebrates 25 Years In Business in 2011
SuperSprint Events Pty Ltd was established in 1986 by David Hansen and since then has established a national and international reputation for being leaders in promotion, presentation and organisation of triathlon and sporting events.

Our Commitment to the Environment
SuperSprint is committed to reducing the carbon footprint of all our events. In conjunction with our suppliers and participants we are implementing a range of initiatives to reduce our impact on the environment. For those emissions that cannot be eliminated, SuperSprint is instigating a carbon offset program to ensure that all our 2011/2012 calendar of events are carbon neutral. We are one of the first event organisers in the country to implement this program and our delighted with this development.
Office Hours
The office is open from 8.30am to 6.00pm from Monday to Friday during the months of November to April and from 9.00am to 5.30pm during the months of May to October.

Director - David Hansen
David has been involved in the sport of triathlons since 1982. He was involved as a competitor, then as a founder of the Geelong Triathlon club and Triathlon Victoria and from 1984 as an event organiser.
He founded SuperSprint in 1986 and was responsible for the development of the Fay-Richwhite/BRW Corporate Triathlon National Series in 1991 (Now Nissan/BRW) and then in 1995 the ITU Triathlon World cup – Sydney event. He went on to be responsible for the organisation of the successful 2000 Olympic Triathlon in Sydney.
He has been chairman of Triathlon Australia’s Race directors committee and was instrumental in the first International Triathlon Union Race directors Committee.

SuperSprint Founder David Hansen was appointed by SOCOG in 1997 to organise the Olympic Triathlon events, which were an outstanding success.
