Fernwood - Koula's Story

Fernwood

The Sussan Women’s Fun Run e-newsletters will follow the progress of Koula, BDM from Fernwood Women’s Health Clubs, as she trains for the event.

Koula’s Diary:

I am 31 years old and although I try to maintain a consistent fitness regime, I am not a runner! As a matter of fact I hate running yet envy those who can do it, hence I have decided to challenge myself by trying this year’s 10km fun run. I am a little scared about getting through the training, let alone the 10kms… but I am giving it a go, so wish me luck!

Fernwood’s advice:

Congratulations on getting started with your training Koula! Remember that the key to successful running is to start off slowly and to make sure that you give your body plenty of time to adjust and recover before increasing pace or distance.

Visit www.fernwoodfitness.com.au for training plans, expert advice and tips.
