Amy Gillett Foundation
|
The Amy Gillett Foundation is delighted to be associated with the SUB Women’s Cycle Challenge – St Kilda. Every year, an average of over 2,550 cyclists are either killed or injured on our roads. Sadly, this is just the tip of the iceberg as most cyclists can also account their own “close calls”. But, there are measures that can be taken to improve this situation – this is the work of the Amy Gillett Foundation. You can make a significant contribution to road safety. For example, as daylight hours increase it is tempting to think that your visibility is also increasing. Don’t assume that motorists can see you. Make sure you can be seen!
