EventLogo

WHEN: Sunday, 21 September 2008

DISTANCES: 120km and 70km

SuperSprint has spent nearly 12 months planning this new ride with Degani Bakery Cafe and are pleased to advise the event will be launched on 1 July 2008.

The event offers a fantastic course starting and finishing in Whittlesea, and features quiet country roads, a climb to Kinglake, National Park forests and scenic country side!

Over summer, Will Walker (Australian rising star racing in Europe) was filmed riding the climb into Kinglake and will be providing training tips, as well as giving participants the opportunity to compare their time to Walker's over the climb.

Participants will receive a Nalini event jersey (Italian made), along with other race kit items. The event will be staged with the highest level of organisiation as seen with the Great Ocean & Otway Classic Ride.

Stay tuned to the SuperSprint website for regular updates!

New Plans

GOOCR

SuperSprint are currently working with our IT company on a major redevelopment of our online entry system and website. It will provide participants with a more advanced and easy to use online entry system. The project will take 3 months to complete and will be implemented by the start of November.

If there is anything you would like to see improved and included on the new system, we would greatly appreciate your feedback by sending a suggestion to info@supersprint.com.au

SuperSprint are also in the process of reviewing all aspects of our event day organisation and all the survey responses from last season, with the plan of making improvements to the way our events are staged.

These include:

  • equipment
  • participant showbags
  • course maps and previews
  • competitor/participant services

SuperSprint Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorship

SuperSprint has a long list of established sponsors who have supported our events for in some cases, up to 20 years. Each year some opportunities arise for new sponsors to become involved with our events whether it be naming rights, major support, product or sampling.

Next season we have the following opportunities:

Co-Naming Rights of the BRW Corporate Triathlon National Series

This opportunity has just become available after BP Ultimate's 3 year agreement came to an end last week. The Corporate Triathlon National Series has become iconic in the corporate community of Australia, and in 20 years, there has only been 4 naming rights sponsors.

Major Sponsors

Sponsorship opportunities exist at the major level for the Great Ocean & Otway Classic Ride, and the Degani Kinglake Ride. With the popularity of recreational cycling booming in Victoria, SuperSprint has unique opportunities to be involved with a new or established cycling event.

Support and Sample Sponsors

Opportunities exist across a range of events at the support and sample level. For those looking to test the sponsorship water or interested in getting their product in the hands of their target market, these opportunities are ideal.
