Optional Race Cancellation Refund Levy
SuperSprint provides competitors with the option of paying a levy to secure a refund of their entry fee in the unlikely situation of event cancellation. In the case of nearly all triathlon events around the world, if the event is cancelled on the race weekend, competitors are not entitled to a refund, as the event costs are similar regardless of whether the event goes ahead. To opt for the levy, select "Race Cancellation Refund Levy" in Step 4 of 6 in the registration process. You will then be prompted for your payment details. Participants can elect to pay the levy for events already entered as well as future events by logging into their competitor profile and selecting "Edit Entry" for the relevant event. This will take you through Steps 1 to 6 of the entry process without actually re-entering the race. Race cancellation refund levies for the Gatorade Triathlon Series and Brooks Fun Tri are available up to nine days before an event takes place, by 5pm on the Friday a week prior to the event. The cost is $10 for all Gatorade events and $6 for the Brooks Fun Tri. |

Your carbohydrate requirements are influenced by training loads and the demands of competition. On high activity days, your carbohydrate intake needs to be increased to facilitate optimal exercise performance and promote recovery between exercise sessions. Conversely, on low activity days, your carbohydrate intake may need to be reduced to reflect a decreased training load.
