How To Enter a Team
For this years NISSAN/BRW Corporate Triathlon National Series, the new online entry process will be easy to follow and user friendly. The procedure is different from previous years, with details instructions on the link below.
Important Notes
- It is a requirement of entry that ALL participants set up an athlete profile and complete all fields so that SuperSprint can capture important information such as emergency contact details and medical conditions. (Note, existing profiles - your username is your first name & second name together with no space)
- Every team entering the event requires a "Team Captain" who is responsible for entering their team into the selected event!
- It is recommended that each company internally organise willing participants into groups of 3 in preparation for the online entries, with 1 in each team assigned as the "Team Captain" who will then enter the team when entries open. We suggest each Team Captain have the email addresses of the other 2 team members on hand also. There are NO coordinator profiles!
- Please note all competitors must have a unique email address.
- There will not be an email ballot for Melbourne teams as per 2008.

Steps To Enter A Team
To enter a team into the Main or Sprint races the Team Captain must follow these steps:
- Create an athlete profile via SuperSprint's online entry system (see above links)
- Once your profile has been created go to the NISSAN/BRW Corporate Triathlon National Series homepage and click on 'Online Entry'
- Select your event (Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Gold Coast)
- Select your event type – Main, or Sprint (Perth or Adelaide only)
- Select your category (Corporate Male, Corporate Female, Corporate Mixed, Informal)
- Select your Industry Type - the industry most suited to your company type (list available on the link below for reference)
- Enter your Team Name and confirm your contact and address details. If you are selecting the Courier Option (automatically selected for all Sydney teams; optional for Gold Coast and Perth) please ensure you list your business street address.
- Read and accept the terms & conditions, enter you payment details then click ‘Pay Now’
- Once your payment has been accepted, your team entry is secured into the selected event.
- To complete your team entry, you must then click on 'Manage Your Team'. You will then be taken to a 'My Teams' page where you will be prompted to invite all 3 team members into your team.
- All 3 team members (including the team captain) will need to be invited to join the team. This is done by entering the email address of each participant in the team member field provided and clicking on 'invite'. Emails with ‘Event Entry’ links inviting all three team members to join your team will then be sent.
- All team members (including the team caption) must now accept the invitation sent to them via email .Open the 'Event Invitation' email and click on the 'confirmation' link. This will prompt each team member to sign into their profile and select a t-shirt size which automatically adds them to the team; or prompt them to create an athlete profile (if they do not already have one) and join the team.
- Once all team members are confirmed, you can change the team order by clicking the up and down arrows for each team member. Note – for the Sprint Race, the first competitor in the list will swim, the second competitor will ride, and the final competitor will run. For the Main Race, the first competitor in the list will compete first, followed by the second and third competitor.
To check your team completion status simply login to your athlete profile (as Team Captain) and click on 'My Teams'. This will show if your team is complete or incomplete. Teams must be completed within 2 weeks of entering & paying, otherwise they will be withdrawn.
It is the team captains responsibility to ensure that they’re team is complete and each competitor has confirmed their entry by the cut-off date.

Official Event Charity - Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
![]()
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the official charity partner for this year’s series and you have the opportunity to support JDRF when you register for the event.
JDRF raises funds for medical research to find a cure for type 1 diabetes, a disease impacting over 140,000 people in Australia.
Over 2000 new cases are diagnosed every year; many of these are in young children. Whilst people with type 1 diabetes have to inject themselves with insulin up to 8 times a day, insulin is NOT a cure, merely a means of staying alive.
Even with insulin, people with type 1 diabetes face a lifelong risk of health complications such as blindness, kidney failure, heart disease and limb amputation.
Your support will help find the cure. Thank you.

Environmental Tip and What's On
Dislike being crowded?
So do most plants. When they have finished flowering, separate and replant congested perennials such as coreopsis, day lily and penstemon. They will be orderly for summer and fabulous next spring.
Be with the top ten!
It’s official -- one of the top ten places in the world to be on New Year’s Eve is Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain. If you want to avoid the crush in the free viewing areas of the Domain, become a Friend of the Gardens and you can buy tickets for the night of a lifetime inside the gardens (closed to the general public from 3pm). This event always sells out.
