Participants who enter after June 30th will be sent their jersey and event kit 2 weeks prior to the event, and still eligible for FREE coffee at Degani Bakery Cafe's once these items are received! Contribute to Prostate Cancer research while on this year’s Degani Kinglake Ride – It’s Easy! SuperSprint is excited to support a new initiative in conjunction with the Australasian College of Sports Physicians and the Victorian Institute of Sport, investigating whether cycling in the hours prior to a PSA blood test (commonly used to screen for prostate cancer) subsequently produces an inaccurate result. It’s as simple as having a blood test, before and after your ride (5 minutes). We need 200 volunteers to participate in this vital research. If you would like to assist, email sandramejak@gmail.com, mention ‘PSA’ and include your phone number, to find out more. Note: - you must be male and aged 50+ to participate. |
